Studio DRAW

1 of 1

Studio DRAW is an architecture and interior design firm in downtown Boston that caters to clients looking for unique and exciting homes in the city. Since our inception in 2011, we have built up a portfolio of distinctive urban residences that reflect the individual characters and personalities of our clients. While we also do hospitality and retail projects, it is our dedication to urban living that forms the core of our business.

Aaron J. Weinert AIA (M.Arch, Harvard, 1995) founded Studio DRAW after many years in Boston offices where he served as lead designer on a large portfolio of award-winning urban residences. Urban living in Boston has become a hot and diversified market, from condominiums and apartments to single-family residences, in both old and new buildings. Working within the given spatial constraints to maximize flow, light and comfort Studio DRAW sets itself apart from other firms by never following a specific look or repeating previous designs.

Our personalized approach consists of understanding each client’s specific needs and desires, crafting a vision for their home together, and ensuring quality service throughout the design process and construction. We view the unique challenges of working in often tight or unusually configured spaces as opportunities to creatively use every available inch, whether capturing as much ceiling height as possible, to maximizing natural light and storage, to designing that special built-in window seat that allows one to contemplate Boston’s beauty.

We know that good design requires collaboration, and Studio DRAW has developed strong relationships with contractors, millworkers, custom steel designers, engineers, materials suppliers, and many other local design-related businesses. We call upon our colleagues’ expertise regularly to turn ideas on paper into realities. In house, our talented team consists of graduated and current students from architecture schools in New England, notably Wentworth Institute of Technology, where Aaron has taught in the architecture and interior design departments since 2012.

Whether it’s a small apartment renovation, a big loft or a Victorian townhouse, we are always pleased to work with new clients who want their own unique piece of urban Boston.
