Stacy’s Style

My collegues have been telling me that I get around a lot. I don’t think they meant it in a bad way, but are just acknowledging that my role at New England Home and my life take me to a lot of different places. So this week we’re starting my new series of posts on the New England Home blog that will be a roundup of what I’m seeing while I’m out and about. Here are the top three things from last week.

The New England Home Five Under 40 party kicks off the fall design season for me. It is insanely fun. It’s like having every great friend from the design world in town for one night. This year at Landry and Arcari Oriental Rug and Carpeting in Boston was electric. So many people, plus beautiful rugs designed by the winners that were auctioned off to benefit the Cambridge-based charity Barakat.

I had two minutes to drop in at The Drawing Room in Cos Cob, Connecticut, and ended up spending thirty. I’m eyeing these orange ceramic gourds for an upcoming shoot.

If I’m not preparing for a shoot, I’m scouting houses for the magazine. I just walked through an amazing waterfront home designed by Rachel Reider Interiors Here’s a little detail of the amazing Kelly Wearstler from Lee Jofa fabric and the Landry and Arcari rug!
