Designed by the homeowner and based on the formal, manicured gardens she admired in Europe, the multi-level garden is far more than the sum of its parts. It’s a delightful series of vignettes celebrating color, texture and simplicity—from an orderly parterre on the lower level to a lush upper garden featuring a cherished contemplation niche tucked away under a mass of white hydrangea.
