Great news for Cape dwellers! There is a new home design boutique in Chatham, called Found Home, that’s filled with inspirational style, individuality, and spirit!

Jennifer Runnels, designer, artist, and owner of Found Home, has an amazing eye for pulling together all the right elements that make a room sing. An eclectic mix of old, new, and unusual pieces of great quality and design, focusing on special pieces that make a house a home.

Along with fantastic Oriental rugs, she sells many designer goods, Ferran NYC linens, K Powers Glass Studio, Lotuff Leather, Leonards Antiques, LuRu Home, and more. I found her eye for vintage objects and art exceptional. Wouldn’t this turn of the century fisherman’s clock be perfect in a seaside home?

Jennifer’s shop has something for everyone and she also offers a wide range of design services from design/project management as well as decorating (draperies, paint selection, upholstery, wallpaper, etc).

I can’t get enough of ikat—this year’s hottest pattern in everything from home decor to fashion (I even got a wedding invitation recently printed on ikat-patterned paper, a refreshing change from the classic embossed ivory stuff).

It might be time to treat myself to a little something from Kim Seybert’s tabletop and pillow collections.

I love the luscious shade of plum in these pillows.

Yes, they have to be washed and ironed instead of just tossed like paper, but a fabric cocktail napkin is so much more civilized.

A new table runner is such a simple way to bring a little spark to the dining room.
