Forecast: Sunny Days Ahead

June 2, 2014

Text by Cheryl Katz

Forget that for most of January the sky stayed gray for weeks on end and that February and March brought temperatures that never seemed to get much above twenty five degrees (on a good day.) Forget that it snowed in April and rained most every week in May. Instead, look forward to the next few months when the sky will be blue and the air balmy. And what if it turns out that the weather predictions aren’t quite all that was hoped for—it is New England after all. Don’t fret. Beat the bad weather blues by indulging in the fresh, clear work of Elizabeth Grubaugh whose palette is always warm and sunny.

A show of Grubaugh’s work is currently on view at PATCH NYC, The Courtyard at 46 Waltham Street, Boston, (617) 426-0592.
