In 1985, at the young and ambitious age of 24, Steve DiFillippo purchased a locally-owned family restaurant called Davio’s on Newbury Street in Boston’s trendy Back Bay. As Boston’s culinary tastes evolved, he transformed the location into a destination. He retooled the menu, the space, the wine list. The new Davio’s soon garnered rave reviews.
The idea behind Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse was simple, regional Italian foods with a focus on the grill. Everything made by hand from the best ingredients. Based out of Boston Massachusetts, Marc Hall Design (MHD) produces total concepts for weddings, charity galas social and corporate events.
Creative Director/Founder, Marc Hall, and his team have one goal: to design and produce events that exceed their clients’ expectations. MHD have curated their own world of floral and event design, supported by artisans, farmers and growers from around the world, hand-crafted vessels and furnishings inspired by Marc’s global travels. A Massachusetts native, Marc has been passionate about the decorative and natural world since his childhood days tending his parents’ gardens at the family home. After ten years in the hospitality industry, he returned to his roots when he began designing gardens and botanical décor for his loyal clientele. Marc now fuses his knowledge acquired in hospitality with his passion for design and expertise with botanical elements and founded his namesake brand in 2011. Named in 2011 & 2017 as one of the nation’s top 40 industry innovators by Biz Bash, awarded Best of Boston 2017, Marc has created unique environments for a discerning clientele that includes European royalty, a U.S. president, professional sports celebrities and designers not only in the United States but internationally.

Portico was founded in 2012 in Cambridge, MA by two brewers with a passion for design. Portico approaches the brewing process like an architect would a building project – each beer is developed with careful discipline and every ingredient is added with purpose. Like beer architects they make several ‘draughts’ of each brew, iterating until it’s just right. This has resulted in their mantra, ‘put some design in your stein.’
Portico is a contract brewery – we create our offerings at production breweries and distribute them to your local watering hole or fine beer retailer. We got our start at Watch City Brewing Co. and are currently creating our concoctions at the Ipswich Ale Brewery.
We are a father and son team (David & David II) who share a dream and a passion. Our love and appreciation for quality spirits sparked the dream of bringing small batch spirits to our community. It all started during a family dinner with a joking statement of “lets make our own whisky.” With father and son both having the fascination to see how things are made, a half-hearted joke turned a bit serious over the years. We explored the idea by researching, studying, and some say obsessed over how to build a still and process alcohol. Soon enough the saying “From hobby, to obsession, to profession” was coined and Wiggly Bridge Distillery, with some effort, was created.
Our wiggly Bridge Distillery Spirits are distilled in small batches using our handmade copper pot still. Yes it is a handmade, hand rolled, hand riveted copper still. Some would say it is a labor of love. We chose this route because it yields superior taste found only in authentic hand crafted spirits
