Perhaps your house could use a bit more oomph when it comes to holiday dĂŠcor? We turned to some of our favorite designers on Instagram for some stylish holiday cheer and inspiration.

Lisa Hilderbrand’s Connecticut home is ready for Christmas with traditional touches inside and out. Take a look at her house on Instagram and you will truly appreciate the power of a good old-fashioned red bow.

On the flip side Christopher Spitzmiller claims that “bows don’t have to be red or green to be festive! I believe in bold, beautiful contrasting color like this deep aqua turquoise bow.”

Miles Redd reconfirms the belief that “more is more” when it comes to festive decorations. His blue lacquered walls are the perfect back-drop for holiday greens.

Here is some real southern charm from Lauren Deloach. Who doesn’t like a little present at their place setting?

Boston area interior designer Kristen Rivoli went simple and beautiful with single sprigs of evergreens in rustic glass jars. Instant holiday decorating is just a few clips away.

Meanwhile in Connecticut, Carey Karlan of Last Detail Interior Design tops a stone bust with a different crown each year. This photo is a throwback to years past—can’t wait to see what she’s got in store this year!
