Another style highlight of the Provincetown trip I posted about yesterday was checking out the displays at WA. My current favorite: the strikingly patterned dinnerware from New York City’s Terrafirma Ceramics. Mix, match, and create your own tabletop Op art.

The whole collection of wallpapers from the British company Mineheart makes me smile, but my favorite may be this trompe l’oeil beauty. The Chesterfield Button Back paper, designed by Minehart founders Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia, looks just like cushy tufted leather, doesn’t it? It comes in sedate colors like black, gray, and cream, but my favorite is this passionate—and slightly naughty—pink.

I discovered this modern farmhouse pottery while shopping at a favorite store, Periwinkle, in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. When I went online to look at their entire line I flipped out. The” Farmhouse Pottery” products go beyond tableware to include hutch and pantry items, lighting, garden pots, and other unusual home accessories. The pieces all share a chic farmhouse aesthetic—pure and simple. Zoe Zilian is the designer behind this beautifully crafted line. The pottery is available in her Woodstock, Vermont shop or online.

Now I have a new line of dishes I can use for photo shoots. In fact I plan to use it for a story on summer centerpieces that I’m styling next week!
