As the owner of a full service interior design firm, I work hand in hand with architects and contractors coordinating and conceptualizing all aspects of new construction and remodeling projects for the home. My staff and I are very organized and extremely detail oriented. It is team work at its best! Our design scope includes: kitchens, bathrooms and built-ins, as well as all furniture layouts and lighting plans for every room of the house. These are presented in the form of CAD drawings. An overall goal, including color scheme is discussed with my clients to achieve their ultimate wants and needs. I emphasize that their home should reflect their personality in taste and style, and in colors that make them comfortable and happy. Fabric selections for the upholstery and window treatments are presented with these drawings in addition to finish samples for furniture options, relating to the plan. We partake in the selection of all accessories: artwork, lamps, sheets, towels, dishes and silverware, to name a few, to complete the overall look. From rustic to refined, I love the challenge and variety of contemporary and traditional styles, and even the mixing of the two together. Antiques add a wonderful warmth and charm. Contemporary styles have a fresh, clean look, as well as a practical aspect. A comfortable and inviting setting is the ultimate goal. The joy and satisfaction I get from my jobs is what drives me.
