Firm Profile:Established in 1990, Stephen Kelleher Architects has a genuine interest in working with waterfront, historic and new buildings.  As design professionals, we have extensive experience in an extremely wide range of building types, including school complexes, municipal and state facilities, single family homes, multi-family residences, retail facilities, office parks, DPW and state park projects.  In recent years we have had numerous opportunities to provide architectural design services for the rehabilitation, re-use and restoration of several historic buildings. 

Stephen Kelleher has over 35 years of experience in the field of architecture.  His experience dates back to the mid 1970’s when he was employed as Building Inspector and Architectural Engineer for the City of New Bedford.  In that capacity he was responsible for acquiring a $1.5 million grant for the restoration of the city’s main library.  In private practice, Stephen has provided repeat services for the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), formerly the Department of Environmental Management (DEM), Decas Cranberries, The Interchurch Council of New Bedford, and many other clients.  Projects have ranged from feasibility studies, to master planning and individual project designs through completed construction.  Stephen Kelleher Architects repeat service to many of our clients is a testimony to our dedicated service.
